What is 100% recycled glass?
Since 2017 we turn discarded wine bottles into glassware. Our 100% Recycled line goes one step further: it starts from the glass itself, so we can make shapes and volumes a wine bottle never could.
The bottle stays a bottle, just reshaped.
We cut and finish wine bottles by hand. The colour and shape of the original bottle stay visible in every glass. Available from 36 pieces.
The glass is melted and starts over.
Used glass is melted down and shaped into a completely new product, made without new raw materials. That gives freedom in shape, size and colour, and makes larger volumes possible.
From cullet to your table.
Collected
Used glass is gathered from recycling streams instead of ending up as waste.
Sorted and crushed
It is cleaned, sorted by colour and crushed into small pieces called cullet.
Melted
The cullet goes into the furnace and becomes liquid glass again.
Shaped again
It is formed into a new product, ready for many more years of use.

Questions we often get.
What is the difference with upcycled?
Upcycled glasses are cut from wine bottles, so the bottle keeps its colour and character. 100% recycled glass is melted down first and shaped into a completely new product.
What is the minimum order?
Production runs start from 30,000 pieces. The glasses in our webshop can be ordered per set.
